Sunshine
Committee
The
SE Trek Fun Club formed a Sunshine Committee at the January
2009 rally.
The
purpose of the Sunshine Committee is two fold:
New
Members
- Welcome new
members at our rallies; introduce them at the first night's
happy hour and identify them with a special new member
tag
- Send follow-up
notes with future rally dates, SETrek Fun Club website
address, and encourage them to attend the next rally
- Ensure the information
that we have collected is correct (address, phone, email)
Major Medical Issues or Death
- Be aware of
and responsive to our members during a health crisis.
Send cards for illnesses, operations, and major medical
issues. In case of the death of one of our members, send
a donation to a charity of the member's choice in honor
of the deceased club member.

Sherman are the Co-Chairmen of the Sunshine Committee.
Please
send email to the Sunshine Committee if you know of a Club
member who has an illness or medical crisis so that we can
respond. In your email, please provide an address, either
the home address or the hospital address and provide as
many facts as possible about the illness.
Each
rally will have a few people assigned as welcoming host.
We will need a number of people that will be willing to
be hosts. Hosts would be assigned at the rally to escort
the new member for the first night of activities. If you
would like to be on the list as a Welcome Host for new members,
